The Mindful Eating Clinic

Paediatric Feeding Disorder, supporting a fussy eater - with Jaclyn Pedersen, Mindful Meets #84

Lori Weber Season 4 Episode 84

Today I talk to Jaclyn Pedersen all the way from Phoenix, Arizona.  And my question for you is, do you have a child who is a fussy eater?  Our conversation is about Paediatric Feeding Disorder and we touch on ARFID – avoidant restrictive food intake disorder.

We learn what PFD is and how if left untreated it can influence an individual's relationship with food into adulthood.  Jaclyn has over a decade's experience in program development, and has developed energised and efficient workgroups that influence significant organisational and systemic change for all affected by paediatric feeding disorder.  Jaclyn chats openly about her passionate of bringing awareness to the condition and empowering and supporting families.

Through her non-profit organisation Feeding Matters, Jaclyn and her team unite the concerns of families with the field’s leading advocates, experts, and allied healthcare professionals to improve the system of care for paediatric feeding disorder through advocacy, education, support, and research.
